About
Hi, I'm Abhiroop.
This is my corner of the internet — a quiet place to think out loud about the things I can't stop turning over.
For years I collected thoughts in notebooks, drafts, and half-finished messages to friends. This site is me finally publishing them: writing in the open, changing my mind in public, and building a body of work one post at a time.
What I write about
Four threads, mostly — and everything where they tangle together:
- Technology — building things, the craft of software, and where it's all heading.
- India — a country I can't stop thinking about: its chaos, beauty, and contradictions.
- Faith — religion, meaning, doubt, and the search for something larger than myself.
- Family — the people who made me, and the ones I'm learning to show up for.
Why this site exists
Social feeds are rented land. The algorithm decides who sees what, posts vanish in a day, and nothing is really yours. I wanted a home for my words that I actually own — one that will still be here in ten years, organized the way I think, with no one in the middle.
If something here resonates, the best way to follow along is the newsletter. No spam, no noise — just new writing when it's ready.
